SHAJEER KIZHAKKEKARA

FOUNDER

Shajeer Kizhakkekara was born and raised in a small town surrounded by forests in Wayanad, a region of Kerala in Southern India.

After his Secondary school he moved to Trivandrum, Kerala’s Capital, to enroll at a prestigious Culinary School. After graduation he began to travel in various parts of India, Arab Emirates and Europe working as a Chef for important politicians, sportsmen and celebrities.

These experiences gave him the opportunity to discover a very different reality and to understand how modern life has driven away man from his human nature on Earth.

In the meantime he also studied Psychology, graduating in 2004 at Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University in Kanpur.

Following his long-time passion for Ayurveda, Yoga and Astrology, in 2008 he founded in Wayanad, together with Carola Altea, the Center Vedaguru. The center functions as a cultural bridge between West and East with the aim to spread the ancient Ayurvedic Science trough courses, travels, and contacts with Wayanad’s local population.

Shajeer is still President of Vedaguru as well as theacher of Ayurvedic cuisine.

Since 2008 Shajeer has been studying in depth the roots of his knowledge, in close contact with the indigenous community living in the forest. Fascinated by tribal culture he has been spending most of his time in the forest receiving over the years the ancient Aadhi Manushayan teachings passed on, in the oral tradition, by the spiritual head of the tribe.

Shajeer’s life has been strongly marked by the time spent in the forest. This has helped him understand how much modern civilization needs to recover this ancient knowledge.

Urged by his tribal Master, Shajeer founded Tribalosophy. His aim is to spread this ancient teachings in the modern world and to give every man the chance to reclaim his deep and inner link with Nature.

In 2018 Shajeer was conferred the Honorary Doctorate in Tribalosophy at the Commonwealth Vocational University.

Today Shajeer carries on Tribalosophy’s many projects, creating a powerful human network with his ambitious goal: “to make whatever is possible to turn by the year  2500 Earth into a green planet ”.
